Transnationality
Transnationality is an essential element in the Equal initiative for promoting the transfer of know-how and good practice between partnerships and between member states. By sharing the results of innovative actions carried out by the DPs at national level, transnational co-operation will provide real value-added for policy development at the national and European levels. During Action 1 your DP should develop a Transnational Co-operation Agreement with at least one partner from another member state.

Guide for Transnationality
The European Commission has developed the new Guide for Transnationality for the Second Round (also available from the Commission’s Web site).
The Guide provides practial information on how to plan and deliver transnational work under Equal. This includes sections on understanding Equal, preparing for transnational work (including finding transnational partners), completing your TCA and making transnationality work. It also contains many practical examples of good practice from the first round of Equal. In addition, country-specific information on the implementation of Equal is available on the Commission Web site, which gives additional background information to help DPs select which countries to work with.
A compendium of Round 2 DPs in Poland is also available to download, giving more detailed information on all Polish DPs.
