The use of the Equal Web site is subject to the following terms and conditions.

This Web site was produced by ECOTEC Research & Consulting for the European Social Fund Division and represents ECOTEC’s interpretation of the Equal programme. The site should not be relied upon as a statement of the ESFD’s views. In entering the site you as a user are accepting these terms and conditions.

Every reasonable effort will be made to ensure that the details provided on the site are correct. ECOTEC’s goal is to keep this information timely and accurate. If errors are brought to our attention, we will try to correct them.

The Equal Web site is provided ‘as is’, without any representation or endorsement made and without warranty of any kind whether express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, compatibility, security and accuracy.

Privacy policy

Any information submitted by users of the Equal site is protected and held securely. ECOTEC maintains strict security standards to prevent unauthorised access to it. Details such as e-mail addresses are not submitted to any third parties.

The Equal site collects two kinds of information from its users: feedback and queries (through forms and e-mails sent to the Support Unit); and site usage information (from server log files).

1. Feedback

The Support Unit welcomes feedback on any aspect of the Web site and users can contact us via e-mail and the forms online. Your comments are seen only by members of the Support Unit and will be dealt with as soon as they are received. If appropriate, your message may be passed on to another organisation (such as the Scottish Support Unit).

2. Site usage information

Log files allow us to record visitors’ use of the site. This information is generated automatically by ECOTEC’s Web server and is used to make changes to the layout of the site and to the information in it, based on the way that visitors move around it. Log files do not contain any personal information.
