Disability: Challenging the barriers and moving on

This event showcased the key outcomes from Round 1 of the Equal programme to support disabled people into employment from 2001–2005, and highlighted new work planned for the remainder of the programme under Round 2 from 2005–2007.

The event was sponsored by the Disability Rights Commission, the enforcement body for the Disability Discrimination Act 2005. The event faciliators and evaluators were the Council of Disabled People Warwickshire and Coventry, a disability rights organisation which provides a range of services for disabled people and organisations.
