Start up event for DPs in Round 2

27–28 October 2004, QEII Conference Centre, Westminster, London

This event was designed to provide new Development Partnerships with important information about the Equal programme. Day 1 of the event included an introductory Thematic Networking Group (TNG) meeting for each theme, providing networking opportunities for DPs and an opportunity to understand how the TNGs work in practice. The afternoon of Day 1 was an information session outlining ESF administration and monitoring requirements for DPs.

Day 2 began with workshops on the Equal leading principles of empowerment, equal opportunities, mainstreaming and partnership. This was followed in the afternoon by a session providing information and guidance on completing the key outputs from Action 1, including the Development Partnership Agreement and Transnational Co-operation Agreement.
