Equal events

Second round information seminars

May 2004

The GB Equal Support Unit organised ten half-day Information Seminars during May 2004 which took place across the country. The main aim of these events was to provide information, advice and guidance about the second round of the Equal programme.

Delegates were able to learn about:

  • the framework for the delivery of the programme
  • leading principles and thematic priorities
  • advice on how to develop and build successful partnerships
  • working within the guidelines of the European Social Fund (ESF) framework
  • how to complete funding profiles and Public Match Funding Certificates

The events featured Support Clinics which were designed to provide one to one advice and guidance to potential applicants on all aspects of the Programme. The clinics gave potential applicants the opportunity to discuss their planned Development Partnership and activities with members of the Equal Support Unit.

The events also provided an opportunity for networking with other organisations that want to participate in the second round of Equal, including the possibility of identifying potential partners.

Presentations from these events are available below.
