Equal is a European Social Fund (ESF) Community Initiative, providing funds to projects which test and promote new means of combating discrimination and inequalities in the labour market.
Equal Works 2007
The ESF funded Equal Initiative has been a significant pilot programme that has brought together both EU and UK Government aims to tackle all forms of discrimination and inequality in the labour market, both for those in work and those seeking work. This major event has showcased good practice developed across a broad range of policy and practice themes and has been of interest to all those working to improve equality in the world or work.
